Nature Has Provided Us with No Better Structural Material than Wood
Warm Comfort
Because of the wood’s natural cellular structure, timber flooring keeps your feet warmer on cool days and refreshingly cool on warm days. Wood was designed by Mother Nature to be a great insulator with thousands of air chambers per cubic inch. So take off your shoes, relax and experience the incredible feeling comes from the natural hardwood flooring. Timber flooring offers seven times better insulation than ceramic tile and is much warmer than laminated flooring and PVC vinyl floors.
When you use a microscope to look through at wood, you will see thousands of tiny air chambers. These air chambers are very effective temperature insulators.
Walking Comfort
Without wood flooring, basketball wouldn’t be basketball. Dancers love wood flooring because they are firm but resilient. Walking on wood flooring like putting on a pair of Nike Air Max shoes, they both relieve foot fatigue.
Sensual Comfort
Nature and mankind were born to be together. Hardwood flooring is physically and psychological warmer. There remains an aura of warmth and friendliness, and it could be the sound resonance, or the texture and the color of the grain of the wood flooring. No synthetic or plastic carpet, PVC vinyl flooring or laminated flooring can compete with the spirit of timber floors. Timber flooring is indeed warmer.
Touch Comfort
Have you ever walked on your bare feet across wood flooring to ceramic or marble flooring on a cold weather? Did you feel one of the floor feel colder? It wasn’t your imagination. Marble will conduct heat from your skin at a rate almost 20 times greater than timber flooring. Because of a little known fact called the K-value, Hardwood flooring always feels good on the feet. The K-value is the property of a material’s ability to conduct heat. The lower the K-value for a material, the better it insulates. Wood will be your best surface choice when it comes to K-value.
